Telluride Balloon Festival - June 3-5
Telluride, CO
Weather permitting, dozens of hot air balloons launch from Town Park on the east end of town and sail down the valley landing about one mile out of town. The balloons launch at sunrise and bystanders often get to help with the launch. On Saturday night of the festival, the balloon pilots inflate their balloons along Main Street and fire up the propane for the "Glow". This is a beautiful and incredibly unique sight.

Frederick in Flight - Hot Air Balloon Festival - June 25 & 26

Join the Town of Frederick as we celebrate the many forms of flight in June with a hot air balloon lift, glow party, and tons of fun for the whole family! The balloons lift at daybreak, weather permitting. Balloons lift off between 5:30 a.m. - 6 a.m. under ideal weather conditions. Make-up flights will only be available during the event as available. Morning balloon lift-off is at sunrise (around 6 a.m.)each day and Glow Party on Saturday night at 5 pm. The Glow Party will take place on Saturday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Centennial Park and will feature live music, food vendors, beer garden, kids activities and hot air balloons candle sticking and glowing (weather permitting). The Hot Air Balloon Rodeo offers guests a spectacle like no other with a sky full of color. Get to the launch grounds early to see the balloons inflate and enjoy this wonderful photography opportunity.
The rodeo portion of the event consists of fun contests like dipping into Bald Eagle Lake and since balloon pilots can be pretty competitive, you’re guaranteed a good show.

Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off Sept 3-5

A beautiful way to say goodbye to the summer during the Labor Day Weekend. Every year, the arrival of fall is marked at Colorado Springs with a massive hot air balloon ascension. You can go up in one of over 70 balloons accompanied by breakfast and drinks from local vendors that rise in the sky to greet the sun.
Other activities include skydiving demonstrations, wake-boarding, paddle boarding, chainsaw carving, and donut eating competitions. In addition, there will be plenty of music and other live entertainment. The day of festival fun ends with an amazing hot air balloon glow at dusk.

The Snowmass Balloon Festival fills the sky with one of the highest-altitude hot air balloon events in the country. Over three days, 30 pilots compete in challenges and races, as spectators take in the stunning sight and capture spectacular photos. Special activities and events round out the weekend, including Cidermass and Septemberfest. All Snowmass Balloon Festival events are free and open to all ages. All daytime events take place at Snowmass Town Park, with free parking in the Town Park Station lot.

Downtown Hot Air Balloon Glow - TBD

The Downtown Hot Air Balloon Glow is part of the Animas Valley Balloon Rally. The Glow is a unique event in Downtown, and offers attendees a chance to get up close and personal with the hot air balloons and their pilots. There will also be candlesticks for the kids, which is a hot air balloon basket with its burner. Kids can light the burner! This event is FREE to attend. Times subject to change based on weather and wind conditions.
